“You Again?”

No matter how old you are, you never get over high school. Successful PR pro Marni (KRISTEN BELL) heads home for her older brother’s (JIMMY WOLK) wedding and discovers that he’s marrying her high school arch nemesis (ODETTE YUSTMAN), who’s conveniently forgotten all the rotten things she did so many years ago. Then the bride’s jet-setting aunt (SIGOURNEY WEAVER) bursts in and Marni’s not-so-jet-setting mom (JAMIE LEE CURTIS) comes face to face with her own high school rival. The claws come out and old wounds are opened in this crazy comedy about what happens when you’re reunited with the one person you’d like to forget.



Am I too girlish to join this contest? Well, that wasn’t a sin, isn’t it? Both of us-women and men- have our own “nemesis” that will haunt us back someday – sooner or later!!! >:) And for me, the expression “you again?” meant a lot- whether it was expressed in soft way or in the annoying again. You can try it when you pronounce the phrase later on. Sometimes, you meet people coincidently on several occasions and it seems that the phrase will be more appealing (and tempting, I guess!), but in other situation, when you destined to meet the person you hated most in a rendezvous or any other open place, how you would response to it? Will you:

(a) Make a fake smile and pretending that you have forgive and forget about your past (just like our personalities always do)
(b) Avoiding him/her
(c) Kick his/her butt (yeah, I meant it)
(d) Make a story about him/her

Well, for me I will try to avoid that person. I am the person whom hardly forgive and forget about my past coz every single thing happened in my past brought me to what I am today. But, in the same time, I also didn’t like to make “noise” on that person. So, the best thing I would do is avoiding and keeping my distance from the person. But, what if I can't avoid him? Well, I thought it would be good if I manage to come out with few solutions then...

My "high school nemesis" was a guy, whom leave a scar on my head (just what Lord Voldemort done that to Harry Potter). Well, you might not believe it till you see it, right?

 

He used to be my best friend during my childhood. We used to be in the same class, went fishing and climbing tree together and may other things. But, when there's an "occasion" involving family matters later on that lead to the matter. I won't blame my family and neither do him (I think), but all of us will fight for our family right? Well, it is bitter to share this experience with the readers as they are many things happened that day.

But, the climax was on that night, when he throw the rock onto my head, I know that our relationship won't be good forever. (It just like Lord Voldemort and Harry Potter...again!!!). When my and his dad quarrel on an issue, he went for me and throw that stupid stone to me causing my head bleeding. Later, i was admitted to a clinic. As the injury was quite bad, I was then transferred to other hospital and at that moment, I've been anesthetized by the doctors but the drug come out from my head. As a result, my head was "sewn" (7 needlework done there) without being anesthetized..It's painful you know!!!

Now, I hardly see him as I'm far away from him. I'm working in KL now and I hope I won't have to face him. I really hope that. May be I'll forget about the story but that scars will remain on my forehead and speak on its own.
